Justin Gregonis

Managing Partner

Justin graduated with a Masters in Architecture in 2002 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Upon moving to the Phoenix area shortly thereafter, he joined Butler Design Group for 5 years. He served as a project architect and designer for 2 years at Vertical Design Studios and the design director at ArcTec for 5 years. He returned to Vertical Design Studios where he became the Manager Partner and Principal Architect in 2014.

Justin has over 18 years of design experience in all market sectors and leads conceptual design and management of all projects at Upward Architects. Growing up playing with Legos, a love of art, and a curiosity of how things work, Justin’s fascination with design led him to his career in architecture. Out of the office, Justin plays tennis, cheers on his favorite sports teams, and travels abroad with his wife to search for some of the most inspiring architecture in the world.
